At New Zealand Trucking Association, we are dedicated to road safety and doing our part to help save lives. The New NTA Road Safety Truck was launched in 2017. This is the only formal truck road safety program running in New Zealand and it is only possible because our Industry Partners have sponsored the equipment and other essential resources. The programmes have won several major awards. Over 35,000 participants have gone through the programs to date. We deliver two programmes; Share the Road with Big Trucks (designed for all road users) and Trucking Along Let's Talk (designed for truck drivers and industry). Permanent funding is being sought so that a dedicated team can be employed to run the programmes full time. Exciting new future developments are coming soon in 2021.
THANK YOU KEY PARTNERS
SAFETY TRUCK SNEAK PEAK
SAFETY TRUCK HISTORY
The development of the New Zealand Road Safety Truck was only possible thanks to the industry sponsors and supporters. A big thank you to our foundation sponsors for helping the New Zealand Trucking Association bring this important initiative to life back in 2017 and to our Key Partners who support us in delivering these important road safety messages. Here's a sneak peak into the development of the Road Safety Truck.
