REPRESENTING MEMBERS

We make sure our member's voices are heard so that they can focus on running profitable businesses.

We work with local councils, government agencies including NZTA, Worksafe, ACC and other industry stakeholders on issues that affect our members. We pride ourselves on building relationships here and in Australia, to form collaborations and sharing of resources that benefit New Zealand operators.

ROAD TRANSPORT FORUM NEW ZEALAND (RTFNZ)

The forum works for us to make sure our members voices are heard by government. Our executive board member Ken Winsloe is our director of the RTFNZ and makes sure that our members issues are represented.

MITO

MITO is an industry training organisation who design qualifications and training programmes that meet the needs of the transport and logistics industries. We work with Mito to keep abreast of industry qualifications and training

NATIONAL LIVESTOCK TRANSPORT COMMITTEE

Our Vice President Eddie Swain represents our livestock members on the committee.

CANTERBURY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

We are members and have access to important information regarding employments, legal and exporting.

AUSTRALIAN TRUCKING ASSOCIATION (ATA)

We have built a relationship with the ATA to collaborate, share ideas and resources to tackle common issues. We share common goals around safety, driver health and wellbeing and promoting transport careers.

WAIMAKARIRI, SELWYN & HURUNUI DISTRICT COUNCIL ROAD SAFETY COMMITTEES

We are members of these committee groups and work to improve road safety outcomes in these regions.

We are a member and supporter of this group

CHARTERED INSTITUTE OF LOGISTICS AND TRANSPORT (CILT)

We are a member and supporter to gain valuable insights that can be shared with our members.

NZTA FREIGHT FORUMS

We collaborate closely with NZTA, attending meetings including the Freight Forums to keep up to date with plans that may affect freight and to ensure our member's voices and concerns are heard, before any major decisions are made.
